Barry Dawson Jr. IV was born in Chicago, Illinois and spent much of his childhood in public housing projects on Chicago’s southside. He currently resides in the Pacific Northwest with his wife, children, and granddaughter. Barry’s skills and hobbies include practiced observing, roasting his loved ones, and tilting at windmills. Sometimes, he writes poems, fiction, creative nonfiction, and essays.
